Don Muang Tollway Public Company Limited (“The Company”) is the private company which granted concession for construct and operate the elevated toll road, Utra Phimuk – Din Daeng to National Memorial Section (“Don Muang Tollway”), under the Concession Agreement in respect of the Highway No. 31 Viphavadi-Rangsit Road, which the Department of Highways, the Ministry of Transport, is the concession holder thereto.

Total concession length is approximately 21.9 kilometers with the concession period until 11 September 2034. Don Muang Tollway is the elevated toll road from Bangkok Metropolitan and the Northern vicinities as main and direct route to the Center, Northern and North-Eastern part of Thailand.

The concession highway is in the form of BTO (Build – Transfer – Operated), that is after completion of construction, the ownership of the elevated Tollway had been transferred to the Department of Highways, remaining solely on the exclusive rights for well-rounded operations under concession agreement and toll revenue collection. Therefore, the Company has engaged to operate in accordance with the concession agreement under the Department of Highways as well as for the maximize benefits to the stakeholders on top of a good transportation service to the public.

Nature of Business

To provides a full service to the tollway users which consists of the toll collection, the traffic management, the rescue service, and the maintenance service.

The Company had been granted a concession for operating the elevated toll road from Din Daeng to National Memorial Monument with total length of 21 kilometres. The Company provides a full service to the tollway users which consists of the toll collection, the traffic management, the rescue service, and the maintenance service. The elevated toll road that the Company get the right of management and toll collection can be divided into two section as follow:

Original Tollway Section

from km. 5+700 at Din Daeng to km. 21+100 at Don Muang in total approximate length of

The Company received the BOI certificate from the Board of Investment for the business, operation, and construction of the Din Daeng – Don Muang elevated toll road (Type 6.28 : Concession Business) since 16 May 1991. Later on, the Company received another BOI certificate from the Board of Investment for the business, operation, and construction of the Northern Extension section of the Din Daeng – Don Muang elevated toll road (Type 7.3 : Concession Business) since 6 March 1998.

Regarding the toll payment, the Tollway user shall pay toll at the entrances and on the elevated road located in 9 toll plazas. The toll rates are predetermined in accordance with the Memorandum of Agreement Amending the Concession Agreement No.3/2007 dated 12 September 2007 that the toll rates are adjusted in every five years. The toll rates have been mutually agreed as properly calculated toll rates.

According to the Memorandum of Agreement Amending the Concession Agreement No. 3/2007 dated 12 September 2007, the toll rate for types of vehicles shall be applied in accordance with the rate and date as specified in the following tables:
