First Aid and Basic Life Support (CPR) Training Program
On July 23 and 30, 2012, the Safety Department under the Managing Director's Office organized a training course on "First Aid and Basic Life Support (CPR)" for supervisors and employees. The objective of the program was to equip participants with the skills to assist injured or ill individuals in a way that prevents further harm before transporting them to the hospital. This includes the use of available tools and equipment at the scene of the incident.
The training began with assessing the body to identify injuries that could be life-threatening, followed by providing immediate help and transferring the patient to the hospital. Emphasis was placed on practical first aid techniques tailored to common accidents that occur in the company’s elevated tollway environment and those that are applicable in daily life.
The training was conducted by Dr. Rungthip Wannawimolsuk, an emergency and accident physician from Vibhavadi Hospital.
