DMT receives Recognition for "Standards for Prevention and Resolution of Drug Problems in the Workplace"

On Wednesday, June 26, 2024, Ms. Charinya Konglang, Safety Manager, along with her team, represented the company in receiving an honorary certificate for the "Standard for Prevention and Resolution of Drug Problems in the Workplace." The award was presented by Ms. Sopha Kiattinicha, Director-General of the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, at the Ministry of Labour, located on Mit Maitri Road, Din Daeng Subdistrict, Din Daeng District, Bangkok. The Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, under the Ministry of Labour, emphasized three key policies for all parties to focus on:

  1. All workplaces should unite to combat drug abuse, with employers and employees working together and maintaining ongoing, sustainable practices.
  2. Employers are urged to give drug users the opportunity to undergo rehabilitation and reintegration into the workforce without being terminated, helping them return as valuable members of society.
  3. It is important to always remember that the prevention and resolution of drug problems is a responsibility of all Thais, requiring cooperation and vigilance to ensure that employees and those close to them do not get involved with drugs.
