Dr. Thanasak Wongthanakitjaroen, Director of Intercity Motorway Division, presided over the opening ceremony of the new electric charging station at Din Daeng Toll Plaza, hosted by Don Muang Tollway Public Company Limited (DMT). The event was attended by Dr. Sakda Panwai, Managing Director, along with DMT executives, Mr. Chatri Tansiri, Deputy Governor of Maintenance Engineering at the Expressway Authority of Thailand, Ms. Rungsinee Prakij, Director of Business Development at the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), Mr. Saksith Suntareekanon, Executive Vice President for Domestic Business Development 1 at Electricity Generating Public Company Limited (EGCO), Mr. Than Liangpaiboon, Head of Venture Builder at Innopower Company Limited, and Dr. Supachoke Meeampol, Director of Highway District 13.

To enhance emergency assistance services for users of the Utraphimuk elevated tollway, the company has installed a 120-kilowatt DC fast-charge station, specifically catering to electric vehicle users. The fast-charge system requires only 15 minutes to recharge and also facilitates the company’s operational vehicles, which are set to transition entirely to electric vehicles in the future.

DMT has enhanced its assistance services for users of the Utraphimuk Elevated Tollway by deploying the DMT Smart Assistant team. This team consists of traffic management staff, rescue personnel, special operations staff, and tow truck operators who work closely with the Operation Control Center (OCC). By integrating AI CCTV cameras, the system monitors and detects potential incidents on the tollway. This coordinated approach enables the team to respond quickly and efficiently, ensuring prompt assistance for tollway users.
