DMT Supports Sustainability with "Plant & Protect" Initiative

On June 17, the United Nations' World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought, Dr. Sakda Panwai, Managing Director, Ms. Bongkodrat Tangchukul, Executive Vice President of Business and Finance, and Ms. Atchara Chareonporn, First Vice President - Business Sustainability Development, along with employees from Don Muang Tollway Public Company Limited (DMT) and students from the "Path to Dreams" foundation, participated in the "Care the Wild" initiative, specifically the "Plant & Protect" project.

In collaboration with the Stock Exchange of Thailand, the Department of Forestry, the Greenhouse Gas Management Organization, and the Nong Pling community in Kanchanaburi, the event focused on tree planting to restore and regenerate nature.

The initiative aims to combat desertification, absorb greenhouse gases, increase oxygen levels, and mitigate global warming. This activity aligns with DMT's 35th anniversary, a year in which the company has emphasized integrating the core principles of Environmental (E), Social (S), and Governance (G). The tree planting initiative not only helps expand forested areas but also adds significant value to the local community. DMT continues to be a key driver in advancing sustainable development, positively impacting communities, society, and the environment.

Through this event, DMT encourages all to prioritize global environmental issues on World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought.
