"Plant & Protect" Year 2: DMT Enhances Sustainable Environmental Efforts
DMT, alongside students from the Path to Dreams Foundation, in collaboration with the Care the Wild "Plant & Protect" initiative, the Stock Exchange of Thailand, the Department of Forestry, the Greenhouse Gas Management Organization, and the Nong Pling community in Kanchanaburi, marks its second year of promoting environmental sustainability.
Led by Dr. Sakda Panwai, Managing Director, and supported by the company’s executives and staff, the event focused on tree planting to restore and regenerate nature. The activity targeted areas experiencing rapid environmental changes and aimed to absorb greenhouse gases, increase oxygen levels, and mitigate global warming.
DMT continues to integrate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles in its operations. This community-driven tree planting project not only contributes to increasing forested areas but also adds value to local communities, reinforcing DMT's role as a key player in fostering long-term sustainability for communities, society, and the environment.
