DMT Promotes the Quality of Life for People with Disabilities in 2024

On November 18, 2024, Don Muang Tollway Public Company Limited (#DMT), led by Ms. Atchara Charoenporn, First Vice President - Business Sustainability Development, visited the Apostolic Care Center of the Thare-Nongsaeng Archdiocese, Thare Subdistrict, Muang District, Sakon Nakhon Province to follow up on the progress of the 2024 Thai Disability Quality of Life Promotion and Development Project, in accordance with the Persons with Disabilities Quality of Life Promotion and Development Act, B.E. 2550 (2007), Section 35.

The company has hired a total of 5 disabled employees, divided into:

  • Employment under Section 33: 3 disabled employees
  • Vocational support under Section 35: 2 disabled individuals, including Mr. Poolsak Chomphuchan and Ms. Thidaporn Seumke.

In 2024, the company also provided breeding hens and promoted practical training in egg-laying poultry farming. The project aims to support people with physical disabilities by helping them establish stable careers and income in their local communities, leading to sustainable livelihoods and an improved quality of life.
