Social Activities

DMT continues its mission to foster sustainability for society. Led by Ms. Atchara Chareonporn, First Vice President - Business Sustainability Development of Don Muang Tollway Public Company Limited, along with the management team, DMT visited career-building activities in the Lak Si district. These activities included:

• Water Surface Art: Creating unique patterns on existing items to enhance their aesthetic value.
• Tie-Dye Fabric Making: Adding value to fashion items through community craftsmanship.
• Beverage Preparation (Tea and Coffee): Developing skills for setting up coffee shops or beverage businesses.
• Bakery Making: Providing opportunities to start bakery businesses and increase income.

This project focuses on assisting the elderly and vulnerable groups who are unemployed. DMT supports these groups by purchasing their products or services, generating income, and improving their quality of life. This aligns with the government policy to "Create Jobs, Generate Income, and Reduce Expenses" and supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including:

Goal 1: No Poverty

Goal 2: Zero Hunger

Goal 8: Promote sustainable economic growth and decent work for all

These activities not only enhance skills but also provide opportunities for community members to establish their own businesses, thereby improving their long-term quality of life.
