DMT Continues the “Tollway Better Way” Project to Improve the Quality of Life in Don Muang Community
Don Muang Tollway Public Company Limited (DMT), in collaboration with the Community Development and Social Welfare Department of Don Mueang District Office, has launched the “Tollway Better Way” project to promote and support career creation for residents of Don Mueang District, especially the elderly, vulnerable groups, and the unemployed. The initiative aims to provide more income opportunities and enhance the quality of life for participants.
The project offers a variety of training activities, including tie-dye making, food and beverage preparation (such as stuffed noodle rolls, chicken sandwiches, and fruit salad pudding), herbal product creation (herbal balms, herbal compresses), as well as handicrafts like natural-material krathongs and makeup workshops. DMT also supports these community groups by purchasing their products and services to help generate real income.
This project aligns with the government’s policy of “Job Creation, Income Generation, and Expense Reduction” and supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including ending poverty, eradicating hunger, and promoting sustainable economic growth.
